Or maybe I am the only fanatic on here that will admit it?

I don't know if it would make any sense to you now since you haven't seen the first season; but you people are missing a good show.
I wonder how it is doing in the ratings? |

Unfortunately, I don't get to watch it every week and I'm not even familiar w/ most of the character names. But, I enjoyed the episode where the mother of those boys had a breakdown and her friends came to her aid on the football field (I believe).

Yeap, that was an interesting episode. I think a lot of women could relate to that story.
This season that mom has gone back to work, because she kept her husband from getting a promotion. She begged his boss not to promote him. He got mad and quit; she is now having to work. He is staying home to take care of the kids. It is a big change in her character. If you need a briefing on anything to get you up to speed let me know. |

Thanks, Michelle.
I really have to get up to speed on everything. Wow, she's back at work, huh? It must be funny w/ him taking care of the domestic duties. I used to watch Doug Savant when he was on Melrose Place (YES, I WATCHED MELROSE PLACE AND I'M NOT ASHAMED TO SAY IT. LOL) |

I never did watch Melrose Place was that on HBO or maybe when we didn't have cable. We just recently got satellite again about four years ago. We just couldn't afford it for a long time. Now my husband wouldn't do without it for anything. He loves watching all the different channels like the history channel and such. I guess I spend too much time sewing or on the internet.
If you have any quesitons about the show let me know. I will talk to you soon. I got caught up this summer on the reruns. MY HUSBAND LOVES THE SHOW MORE THAN I DO, BUT THE CHICKS ARE PRETTY HOT. |

If I remember correctly, Melrose Place was on after 90210 (which I didn't watch) on Fox network. Not sure what channel it is for you, but in NJ it is channel 5.
We have cable but not satellite. We don't have any movie channels that you have to pay for. We have pay-per-view which is great when you don't feel like going out to rent a movie. I think her name is Brie, she was on Melrose Place, as well. Is she the one whose husband cheated on her w/ that S&M woman? I remember she was starting to date the pharmacist, but I don't know whatever happened there. |

Ah, well if you watched tonight you might of got all caught up. Tonight was a rerun. I think it was the first show that aired this Fall. My mom called so I didn't watch too much of it.
Brie is my favorite on the show, because she thinks everything should be perfect. She reminds me of someone I know. Yes, Brie's husband Dr. Vandecamp was paying a neigher, who was a hooker too, on the side for some S and M. She started dating the pharmacist. Her husband and her got back together. George, who is the pharmacist, and her were just going to be friends once they got back together. Her husband, who is the doctor, was taking some type of b/p or heart medication and getting it from the pharmacist. That is how they know George! George starting giving Dr. Vandecamp something else making his condition worse. He keeps getting worse and worse last season. He dies due to what the pharmacist has given him at the end of last season or the first show this season. George now can have Brie for himself. Right before he dies Bries' husband thinks she poisoned him due to all the affairs. He writes it down for his doctor to see. They dig him up and test him for poison. Brie passes a polygraph test along with George. Brie decides this season to bury him elsewhere in the cemetary because she can't believe he would think something so awful of her. They showed her burying him elsewhere last week. |

Michelle, it was on Fox network. Just a regular channel.
I don't know t.v. show schedules anymore, either. I used to know when stuff was on, now I can't seem to remember (probably because of the kids). That's why I seem to miss Desperate Housewives every week. By the time I remember that it's on, it's over. I just can't get into the groove of taping shows. I would never have time to watch them anyway. |

Wasn't Heather Locklear the best prime-time bitch around?

She most likely was I just missed it. Maybe I can buy the Melrose Place season or something.
I could never figure out how to record on this stupid VHS recorder. My husband and his friend are computer whiz people, and they can't figure the stupid thing out. We gave up on it. I still have a VHS recorder, but me mostly use our DVD player. I don't have one you can record on, and I can't afford that Tivo or whatever the heck it is. Steve and I remind each other that Desperate Housewives is on at 8:00 every Sunday night here where we live. We basically work our day around that show now. It is our time to enjoy a show together each week. He likes that curvy blonde Eddie, so when my hair gets more gray I am just going to color it blonde. He says he doesn't prefer blondes. I think he likes her T and A. He likes curves. He isn't into skinny gals. He likes the Marilyn Monroe curves. Isn't that Terri Hatcher too thin? |

Yep, Heather Locklear was the best! I loved it.
SShhhhh, don't tell anyone, but DH liked it too! LOL Michelle, Yes, I think Terri Hatcher is very thin. I have seen her with more meat on her, though. LOL There is a nurse that works in my GYN's office who could be Terri Hatcher's twin......but bigger. LOL |

Re: Any Desperate Housewives Fans out there? | ||

Well, if I looked like Terri Hatcher I would try to make a living out of being her twin. You know what I mean? I would find an honest way to do it, but I sure would try.
Although, now that I think of it I shouldn't say anything about her being too thin. I am too fat. |

Remember Teri Hatcher when she was on MacGyver?

I never saw Mac Gyver (sp?)
Is he the guy who could build a boat out of straight pins, toothpicks, and some glue? LOL |

Yeah..........MacGyver was a great show. That man could get himself out of a jam with a piece of gum.

Too bad we can't hire him for real to get us out of this jam whe are in right now.
Today the dental assistnat asked me if I needed anything else and I told her "Cound she clone me a new jaw joint?" She just looked at me. People without TMJ just doen't have a clue about how bad the whole situaiton can get for us patients. |
