Hi to all you ladies, hope your new year is going well.
I seem to have encountered a renewed attack of pain in my body. I have the basic low back pain, nerve pain from rib removal, and the latest herniated disks in the neck......but now my joint areas are really flaring up. I am so sore in all my joint areas that I can hardly get up in the morning. I feel like I have the flu...aching all over, but it's not the flu or a cold. I cannot stand to put any pressure at all anywhere near my joints, from my head to my knees. Just to rub lightly across my elbows is enough to bring tears. I have addressed this with my PCM, pain management, and VA doctors and NONE of them will even give it the slightest acknowledgement. They brush me aside like it's nothing. They just won't listen. I have spent the past week researching Fibromyalgia and have come across some interesting stuff. Each article I read makes me say, "that's me". It's like reading my medical chart. I am almost certain that I am suffering to some degree with this nasty syndrome. They talk about the 18 tender reference points as the diagostic test. I checked and I have 15 of them. You only need 11 to be valid. I just don't know what to do since i can't get doctors to discuss it. Believe me, I have tried. The only hope is a orthopedic doctor I have seen for my neck. While examining me I mentioned my tender points and he made a very subtle statement about "there being a specific disorder that could be a factor", but he would not call it by name. I knew he was thinking fibromyalgia, but he said he didn't want to address it until we had my neck problems taken care of. He is a fairly old doctor too, I'd guess at least 70 yrs old. I might have to work with him some more. My next step with him is to have a discogram done on my neck disks, then report back to him. I'm trying to set the discogram up right now.
I am really starting to lose feeling in my arms, and the nerves down my neck and arms go from electric shock, to a spider web feeling, to just a burn all the way down to my wrists.
I haven't seen this particular study posted here, but I found it had a lot of interesting points.
It is very long, but thought some of you might like to see it. I have been studying Dr. Saint Amand's Guinefasin therapy as a side note.

It's worth a look at...don't know if it might interest you or not. It has some pretty interesting drug/metabolic info.
Thanks for listening once again.
