Hi all,
Not sure if everyone sees or is accessible to this - the PARADE magazine insert that is part of many Sunday newspapers had a cover/article on pain, especially chronic pain.
Not that it was very specific about parts of the body (though it mentioned the words "facial pain") - I guess to do an article that short it could not be?! But it was to the point, talked about treating chronic pain, how many MDs and pts were wary of narcotics (esp in past), and what they are learning about treating it.
I especially appreciated the part where it said pain IS treatable, it is NOT seen by people around the patient and mentioned trying to trust the pt and belief in the patient..........I thought THANK YOU!
