I know that some of you are active on other tmj support groups (the tmj list) and may have already read this but I want to share here too.
something that also has me in a major funk is I recieved a letter from DOW stating that I did not supply the info needed to prove that my implants were made by DOW. I don't know what these people want. There is nothing else I can do. I have sent them everything. It's impossible to get any more records from the implanting surgeon because my chart is "missing." Even the
gave me a letter which stated he implanted me with Silastic. In all the DOW paper work it states that Silastic with a capital "S" is a trademark of DOW. MY current OS even described it as DOW Silastic. Hell, I even have the broken crap right here in my desk. I sent them pictures and offerred to send the 
to them. Ugh! They make me so sick. At one time I had a lawyer, but I gave up on it because I was so sick and he told me that one day I would have to face the in a court room. I could never do that. I do not hate many people but I hate and detest that so called man. People in my tmj world tell me to get another lawyer to fight dow, but I just can't. I can't do it. No way. It just makes me sick that I had this all happen to me, could have died, and I do not even get a penny for it. My Mom says thanks to my current Dr. I have my life and life is worth more than $$ but she does not get it either.
