Did you ask what the difference is between bone on bone or bone on metal.(Implant) I already know the answer.(I think) Less chance of scar tissue. At least that is what my OS told me. But....the theory didn't work as my opening is 10mm and it is scar tissue. Also what did he say about the lump and swelling? Elaine

Posts: 681 (05/27/05 17:48:26) Senior Member Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Hi Elaine I did ask the BIG question and i got an entire presentation He said that there are many documented cases showing and he has seen a few where it reduces scar tissue and fusion So YES i got the same answer he thinks The lump and swelling is fluid that has accumulated i will begin 1 of 3 steroid dose packs tomorrow The good news is Thanks to a pep talk from Cheryl this morning we actually talked I will have a new splint made in two weeks he said "It can't hurt to try" he also said i can go back to PT in a week if wanted after the steroids kick in Thats about it besides he also changed my muscle relaxer Take care Buff
