This is Romeo, our 14-year-old red toy poodle. He has gone deaf this year and hates Bebe, but we love him anyway.
I wanted to add that this year in January of 2008 I had to take Romeo to the vet and have him put to sleep. It was about a month before he turned 15.
The last year he had become more cranky. Two months before I put him down he started urinating in the house for no reason. If I put my foot up so he couldn't get out the front door he would attack my shoe biting it. This type of behavior was totally out of character for him and new, so we knew he had multiple strokes or seizures. He was not getting enough oxygen to his brain. He looked very confused.
I took him for my husband since it was his dog that I bought for him and too difficult. It was very difficult, but I didn't want anyone to get bite. I have a young niece 7.
Romeo was super smart and super about not having accidents. He only did when he was sick, so I knew when he was sick. It was only one time. He has been gone three months and we greatly miss him.
