Thanks Michelle,
I'm going to bet your doctor requires a referral from another physician to be seen by him but it's worth checking out anyway. All they can say is no,
right? LOL...lately ALL I have heard is NO, NO, NO, NO, NO. It's beyond frustrating. I know you know what I mean.

Hugs,

I see Dr. Karges a physiatrist/neurologist, whom my primary care doctor referred me to him. I have seen him for six years, but the first year I had to take

Hey guys, how are you able to find any doctors who are willing to prescribe these types of medications for you? Every doctor I go to is so dammed worried about
themselves and their precious license that they won't even consider giving me anything that will really help with the pain. I just gave up trying and take
whatever crap I have around. It's so frustrating. Since you live in my area Michelle, I was wondering who you see?

constipation was probably the biggest side effect.

Dear Elaine,

I will sure let you know how it goes with the medication. Doctor told me to take break through pain medication with it for the first three days. I took my
first dosage this evening, and it is going well so far. I will let you know if I have any problems. This med is suppose to not make you as lethargic as
Oxycontin and be easier on the liver, which I am for safer pain management as I started pretty young.

Thanks for your interest.

Let me know how you do? Maybe it will be a good change. I know we become immune to things after being on it for awhile. I think that is where I am at again. I
hate to keep increasing and wonder if I should switch to another drug. I am always afraid of something not agreeing with me and hate to switch for that reason.
